Business Support Manager - Kew, Richmond, Surrey
Salary - GBP38-42k per annum + Benefits - 35 hours per week
Abbeyfield are a not for profit organisation and are looking to recruit a Business Support Manager to support care services, primarily across the South East Business unit and other regions as required.
Your main responsibilities will be to support the Senior Business Manager with regards to troubleshooting, employee relations, financial management, recruitment, communications, complaints and quality assurance.
To be considered for this role you must have good knowledge and experience of Care Home Management, with a particular focus on quality, including recruitment and resourcing and be able to network and build relationships with key stakeholders in and out of the care sector. It is essential that you are well organised so you can plan and prioritise effectively in order to meet the ever changing demands of the business.
Your command of the English language and communication skills will be evidence of your ability to present confidently, explain clearly to others and advise and coach to enhance performance. Being able to work in a team and on your own is equally important. A high attention to detail is imperative in order to make difficult decisions when necessary. This is a fast paced environment so you must have a "can do" attitude.
You will have previous management experience in the care home sector, good financial management skills and a strong understanding of the Regulatory environment and Quality Assurance. Part of your duties will be to initiate response and handling of first line complaints to the regions, administrate as necessary and act as an independent investigation officer in line with safeguarding and other disciplinary matters.
