Based in Hove, East Sussex
Hourly Rate up to £7.38 + Benefits

An independent provider of residential care is currently looking to recruit friendly, hardworking and motivated individuals for their modern and well established homes in Hove, East Sussex. Opportunities exist on both a full-time and part-time basis, day and night shifts available.

The Role
You would be responsible for the provision of good care practice to older people and dementia residents, working in line with company policies, industry regulations and quality standards to create a safe and homely environment for service users living with dementia. Duties will include assisting residents with personal care including washing, dressing and undressing, dietary and fluid intake, assisting with toileting needs, and maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of rooms and the home in general.

The Candidate
* NVQ2 in Health & Social Care
* Experience of working with, involving, and empowering older people and / or dementia residents
* The ability to work on your own initiative as well as work part of a team
* Respect for confidentiality, dignity and privacy of service users

You will be an enthusiastic, reliable and responsible individual, eager to maintain and promote a holistic approach to care as well as excellence in standards of care delivered. You must be a good communicator, able to convey information clearly and support service users using person-centred approaches, understanding individual preferences and encouraging independence where possible.
