About us:

Ty Laura provides respite for parents who care for children with complex Learning Disabilities, Autism and /or complex physical health care needs. It provides outcome focussed, child centred service to the child while a guest at Ty Laura. We are seeking to employ positive, enthusiastic people to work in Ty Laura.

Your role:

• Provide direct line support to staff on shift and care for children with various needs while they have a break at Ty laura.
• Provide outcome and child focused activities.
• Manage children's care needs including supervision, medication, physical care and safeguarding.

What you’ll need:

• QCF3 in health & social care.
• Registered with the Care Council of wales.
• Experience of working with children and preferable with children with disabilities.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and waking nights.
• To lead a shift of staff to support children with carious needs.
• Ability to comply with Risk assessments and administer medication (after training).
