Our client is a vibrant and growing alcohol and drugs charity with over 40 years' experience working with individuals, families and communities affected by addiction. They promote change and transform lives. They are evolving in an exciting way, raising their profile as a dynamic values led charity employing more than 250 people who are supported by over 100 volunteers, many of whom are former service users.

They now have opportunities for a full time Recovery Coordinator to join them at their Staffordshire West offices.  As a Recovery Coordinator you will provide effective, high quality and evidenced based services to people affected by substance misuse within the overall treatment system. This role will be essential in ensuring every client has the best opportunity of achieving recovery through accurately assessing their needs, sufficiently planning their care, including sequencing interventions logically, regularly reviewing progress and adapting plans to reflect changes in circumstances.

  • To maintain regular contact with the service user and jointly review their progress wherever they may be within the treatment system. If a service user who remains vulnerable refuses to take part in the care co-ordination all steps should be made to continue engagement.
  • To organise reviews at appropriate intervals (6 weekly) and ensure that all those involved in the recovery care plan are consulted and involved in the review where appropriate.
  • To have a working knowledge of all available interventions in the service to be able to best co-ordinate treatment/interventions.
