Salary: £21,000 to £26,000 Dependant On Experience

Hours: Permanent, Full Time

The company creates innovative digital marketing solutions including apps, digital brochures and also runs various in-house websites to increase student enrolment numbers, enhance institutions' brand positioning and promote in the social media space.

The company is looking for a Content Editor who is enthusiastic, resourceful and eager to challenge themselves. You'll be managing the content and promotion of two in-house websites, one recently launched and the second, an established site attracting over 50,000 visitors per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing website content and direction via a Content Management System.
  • Sourcing content from key industry contacts.
  • Proofreading of all published content and in-house promotions.
  • Loading content and applying SEO keywords.
  • Source and produce engaging content to ensure social media channels are up to date, relevant and interesting.
  • Drive and manage social media campaigns from content creation, to measurement of campaign success.
  • Development of relationships with social media "influencers" across various of social media networks and target audiences.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of social media strategies.
  • Project and client management.
  • Liaising with clients on a daily basis.

The Candidate:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Passion for all things social with an extensive knowledge of social channels e.g. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube.
  • Expert organisational skills, able to demonstrate the ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise workload and deliver results.
  • Ability to liaise with other staff (management, sales, and design) to ensure social & content marketing is up-to-date.
  • Proactive approach to workload, new ideas and personal development.
  • Previous online marketing experience.
  • Resourceful self-starter with good time-management skills, who is eager to learn
  • Creative problem solver with lots of initiative and good people skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Experience of working with content management systems.
  • SEO knowledge (not essential)
  • Google Analytics experience is an advantage.
  • Must have office/work experience in relevant role (1+ years).
  • Excellent English language skills (oral & written).
  • 2nd language beneficial.
