Transport Manager

Are you an experienced Transport Manager looking for your next challenge?

Driver Hire Dundee are delighted to be working with a family run coach hire specialist to recruit a Transport Manager to join their close-knit team. You'll be well versed in the coach hire business and have a good knowledge of both Scotland and the travel industry.

Our client are going through an exciting period of growth, so there's no better time to join them! You'll work from their brand new, state of the art depot and manage a team of experienced, dedicated drivers. You'll also be involved in the workshop, coordinating repairs and ensuring the fleet always remains compliant.

The successful Transport Manager will need:

• Transport Manager CPC for Passenger Transport (Essential)
• Experience working as a Transport Manager, ideally in similar environment
• Strong knowledge of the coach hire industry
• Good mechanical knowledge and understanding of fleet maintenance
• Experience leading a team of drivers

It would also be beneficial if you had your Category D licence and up to date Drivers CPC, however, training can be provided for the successful candidate.

This position is offered on a full-time basis. You'll work for Driver Hire for 12 weeks, and on successful completion of this period, you'll transfer over to our client's permanent payroll.

You'll report into the Company Director and be a senior member of the management team.

The Package:

A competitive package is on offer for the right candidate, including:

• Salary ranging from 40,000 - 50,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Full time, permanent contract
