HGV Class 1 Driver Relief Driver

Are you a Class 1 driver looking for something a bit different? We re looking for a reliable, adaptable individual to join our Avonmouth based Client s team as a Class 1 Relief Driver. In this role, you ll be on standby to support their fleet when needed whether that s driving vehicles to MOT appointments, assisting with vehicle maintenance, or carrying out other essential tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive lorries to and from MOT centres for inspections
• Ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained, supporting the upkeep of Client s fleet
• Assist with general transport needs, including moving vehicles between locations
• Perform occasional deliveries or collections, as required
• Carry out basic checks to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy

What We re Looking For:

• Valid Class 1 HGV (LGV) driving licence
• Flexibility to work on a relief basis as needed
• A keen eye for detail, particularly when it comes to vehicle cleanliness and maintenance
• A reliable and proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Previous experience within Class 1 driving role

• Temp perm opportunity (GBP16.50ph during the temporary assignment, GBP38,765pa on a permanent contract)
• Full time, regular hours, working Monday Friday (5am start, 48 hours per week)
