Job Title: 360 Material Handler

Location: Sittingbourne or Sevenoaks
Pay Rate: 14.10 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced 360 Material Handler to join our team in the recycling and refuse industry in Sittingbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of materials handling equipment, managing recyclable materials to support smooth facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate 360 material handler equipment, such as forklifts, telehandlers, and other machinery, to move and sort recyclable and refuse materials.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and transfer materials within the facility.
• Sort and store recyclable materials in designated areas.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of materials handled, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the recycling and waste management sector.

Requirements:

• Valid 360 Material Handler qualification (required).
• Previous experience in materials handling within the recycling or waste management industry is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in recycling and refuse management.
• Capability to work in a physically demanding environment, including exposure to outdoor weather.
• Strong communication skills and effective teamwork abilities.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
