Our client, a Busy Manufacturer Owned Franchised Dealership in Northampton have the requirement for experienced Vehicle Diagnostic Technician to join their established workshop team. Vehicle Technicians - Mechanics coming back to the motortrade are most welcome.

Diagnostic Technician Responsibilities

As a Diagnostic Technician, responsibilities will include:

Diagnosing complex vehicle failures and rectification are carried out to Manufacturer Standards
Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
Mechanic Warranty Repairs
Carry out MOT Tester to DVSA standards (If qualified)

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
Manufacturer Accreditation as a Diagnostic Technician
2 years Post Apprenticeship Experience
Full and clean UK Driving Licence

Desirable Requirements:

Class 4 MOT Licence
Manufacturer Accreditations
MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)

Remuneration & Benefits

Salary of up to GBP42,000 DOE
40 hours per week including 1 in 3 saturday mornings.
