About the Role:
The Procurement Assistant will support the Procurement Manager in coordinating subcontractor orders, managing supplier relationships, and assisting with general administrative tasks. You will play a key role in maintaining procurement schedules, tracking contracts, and ensuring that project requirements are met during the pre-construction phase. This role offers an excellent opportunity to progress into a Quantity Surveyor position, providing a clear career path within the company.
Role Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and site teams during the pre-construction phase.
- Assisting the Procurement Manager in preparing subcontractor orders and tracking signed contracts.
- Updating procurement schedules in line with project timelines and budgets.
- Organizing tender packages, collating quotations, and submitting cost comparisons for review.
- Leading pre-construction meetings and documenting meeting minutes.
- Providing project-by-project cost analysis to the estimating and commercial teams.
- Handling enquiries and liaising with site staff to ensure smooth project execution.
- Supporting the team with general administrative duties and filing contract documents.

Requirements:
