Coyle Personnel are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer for our Industrial Water Systems Client.

The Candidate: We are searching for a person who is an experienced electrical engineer but will also consider an electrical engineer who wants to progress to a broader career in general project electrical engineering. For the right candidate, this position has considerable potential for growth and advancement as the company grows. We are looking for a person who is a qualified and experienced electrical engineer, preferably though not essential, with experience of electrical design/project management in construction and practical operating conditions of industrial water systems. Ideally that would include experience with industrial wastewater treatment, chemical bulk handling & distribution, ultrapure water for electronics applications and therefore including:

2. Membrane treatments including reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration
3. Conventional and electrolytic deionisation systems
4. Wastewater treatment systems
5. Chemical bulk handling
However, this is not essential as in-house training will be provided, some of which will probably be in Germany.
We will also give additional weight to any candidates having previous experience in the design and preparation of proposals for wastewater treatment plants, either chemical (inorganic) or biological. This type of knowledge would give the correct candidate rather more potential to grow with the company.
It is particularly important to us that the selected candidate must have practical, proven ability and experience and we will therefore give serious consideration to those with field commissioning and operating experience.
The Position: Although this position is for an electrical engineer which is primarily a post contract position. It will have a number of wide-ranging responsibilities including:1. Day to day contact & coordination of EC&I project matters with client, subcontractors, suppliers & H+E staff.

4. Production of Health & Safety documentation including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH assessments, Safety Instructions in relation to electrical works etc.
5. Production of Functional Design Specifications based on outline operating process concepts.
6. Supervision of CAD draftsmen for the production of electrical drawings and equipment design drawings.
7. Providing periodic electrical technical support for a small number of other clients with both water and wastewater treatment plants of various types.
H+E does not believe in putting our valuable staff in "pigeon holes" it is far more important to experience a wide breadth of roles and responsibilities. For the right candidate, this position has considerable potential for growth and advancement as the company is growing and planning to introduce new water treatment products to a wide range of markets, both in the UK and abroad.
This role will be based within the UK at either Whitburn, West Lothian or Horsham, West Sussex, either office based, WFH or hybrid.
This position will suit a person who works easily as part of a close-knit team and is flexible in their approach to work in general since we have to work to strict customer deadlines. You must be prepared to genuinely join the team effort to ensure that the company achieves its goals. The position also involves liaison with our clients, the involvement increasing as time progresses. You must therefore be friendly, well spoken, presentable, practical, and willing to co-operate at all levels
The company continually strives to find more efficient ways in which to operate. Documentation systems are based on Microsoft Office Professional and associated packages, and good familiarity with this software plus good typing skills are therefore required.
Training: Training will be provided as necessary.
Insofar as the work elements themselves are concerned, this will be a mixture "hands-on" training and discussion / agreement about how the work should be done as the role develops.
As & when additional formal training may be necessary, this will be provided.
Package: We will offer a comprehensive employment package, including:
Competitive basic salary
Attractive bonus scheme, depending on personal & overall company performance
Pension scheme: we will match your contributions up to 7.5% of your basic salary
