Supply Chain Managers work within Roke's business units, acting as a Supply Chain Business Partner to manage and facilitate success in all aspects relating to product and service sourcing and supply.
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will provide dedicated support to our growing Futures business unit at both a tactical and strategic level. Your day-to-day engagement may span bids and projects from a diverse technical spectrum, both product and service oriented cutting-edge developments across the public and private sector, including law enforcement, aerospace and government.
Roke are a leading technology & engineering company with clients spanning National Security, Defence and Industry 4.0 through our Futures business and Intelligence as a Service. You will work alongside our customers to solve their complex and unique challenges.
The principles of this role are to support the Roke Supply Chain Strategy and Programmes, to develop further the capability of Supplier Relationship Management and Supplier Collaboration with strong engagement skills around Small Medium Enterprise's (SME), Academia and Non-Traditional Suppliers.
The Key Requirements
Demonstrable track record of developing and maintaining strong stakeholder and supplier relationships
Experience collaborating with technical stakeholders to interpret, develop and articulate their requirements
Experience of working with relevant categories including electro-mechanical, electronics and technical services
Category or portfolio management experience including the implementation of supply chain strategy
Experience of supporting bids and authoring supporting artefacts including customer facing plans and proposals
Extensive commercial and contract management knowledge
Built over a 60-year heritage, Roke offers specialist knowledge in sensors, communications, cyber, and AI and ML. We change the way organisations think and act - through dynamic insights from the analysis of multiple layers of data. We take care of the innovative, technical stuff that keeps everyone safe - that's our mission, passion, and motivation.
Joining a team united by purpose and ambition
At Roke, every individual counts. We push technical boundaries, together. We re-invest in product innovation, and we empower our people to make a difference.
