Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading supplier of Mechanical Engineering products.
The successful Area Sales Manager/ Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will work remotely mainly covering the Midlands, responsible for key account management and new business development of Hydraulic and Pneumatics products such as pumps, motors, valves, hydraulic hoses, cylinders and similar fluid power products via distribution channels and OEM customers.
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling, or managing accounts within Hydraulics, Pneumatics, couplings, bearings, filtration, hoses, valves, pumps, seals, gaskets, compressed air, rotating equipment, gearboxes, cylinders, or similar Mechanical Engineering products.

- Responsible for key account management and new business development of Hydraulic and Pneumatics products such as pumps, motors, valves, hydraulic hoses, cylinders and similar fluid power products via distribution channels and OEM customers.
- Identify and target new clients that can benefit from the Hydraulic & Pneumatic product range on offer.
- Maintaining Mechanical Engineering product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Home-based, willing to travel across the Cambridge area
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering manufacturer.
- Experience selling, or managing accounts within Mechanical Engineering such as Hydraulics, Pneumatics, couplings, bearings, filtration, hoses, valves, pumps, seals, gaskets, compressed air, rotating equipment, gearboxes, cylinders, or similar Mechanical Engineering products.
- A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous.
- Full clean driving license.
