Our partner school is a leading mainstream institution with exceptional provisions for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Nestled in a fantastic location, the school boasts a welcoming atmosphere and is renowned for its commitment to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a student with additional needs, offering vital support to ensure their educational journey is as enriching as possible. Your primary duties will include:
- Providing individualised assistance to the assigned student.
- Implementing strategies to support the student's learning and development.
- Collaborating with the class teacher to adapt and tailor lessons as needed.
- Assisting with the student's personal care and well-being.
- Monitoring and recording progress, communicating effectively with parents and the school team.
Requirements: We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Experience working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of individual students.
- Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic school environment.
