Job Title: Driver's Mate

Shift Duration: Approximately 11 hours (guaranteed 9.6 hours per shift)
Contract: 2 weeks, with the opportunity for a temp-to-perm position

Key Responsibilities for Driver's Mate:

• Unloading Deliveries: Unloading bags weighing up to 16kg from delivery vehicles, using a pallet truck or manually when needed.
• Physical Fitness: Performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
• Team Support: Assisting the driver in all aspects of the delivery process.
• Adherence to Safety: Following all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Additional Requirements for Driver's Mate:

• Physical Stamina: The role requires lifting and moving heavy goods, making physical fitness essential.
• Punctuality: Due to the early start time, reliability and punctuality are critical.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support the driver in completing deliveries efficiently.

• Experience: Previous experience in a physically demanding role or logistics environment is advantageous.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to commit to the full contract duration.
• Location: Must be able to commute to Avonmouth for a 3:30 AM start.
