Overview: Residential Childcare Assessor
An opportunity to join a leading national training provider, we are looking for an experienced Residential Childcare professional to join their successful team.
You will be delivering Level 3 and 4 Residential Childcare apprenticeships to learners located in the North West. Approx. 2/3 days per week travel, visiting learners in their place of work and the other half of your working week will be working remotely from home.
The successful candidate will need to have at least 2 years' occupational experience in a Residential Childcare setting and a minimum L3 Residential Childcare related qualification.
Duties: Residential Childcare Assessor
- Train, assess, motivate and support Residential Childcare learners on programmes towards achieving their Level 3 and 4 Residential Childcare Apprenticeship qualifications
- Maximise the use of e-learning and using a variety of assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge in a variety of ways.
- Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.
Qualifications and Competencies: Residential Childcare Assessor
- A minimum 2 years' occupational experience within a Residential Childcare setting (Essential)
- A L3 or above qualification in Residential Childcare (Essential)
- Experience delivering Residential Childcare apprenticeships (desirable)
- Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33) (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary
- Full UK Driving License
Salary/Benefits: Residential Childcare Assessor
- Salary 27.5k - 32k (salary higher for qualified assessors)
- 27 days annual leave + BHs
