We have a new opportunity available for a Customer Retention Advisor, based in Chelmsford. This offers a guaranteed basic salary of GBP24,819, with a realistic OTE of GBP35,000 plus benefits.

You will be working for one of the largest top ten car dealerships in the UK, based in a lovely office environment. Due to growth, they are looking for a Customer Retention Advisor to join their friendly team
As the Customer Retention Advisor, you will be making outbound emails and telephone calls to customers who have purchased a vehicle from them. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service whilst discussing the customer's current finance agreement for their purchased vehicle, and asking if they are looking to upgrade their vehicle onto a new agreement. You will also ask if they have any friends or family who are looking to purchase a new vehicle, proactively booking appointments for the sales team. During your conversations, you will update the CRM database to ensure all details are up to date. The focus is on achieving a high retention of customers, through excellent customer service. You will receive full training, including financial product knowledge.
To speak to as many customers as possible you will work 40 hours per week, on a three-week rota shift pattern which is provided in advance. The hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. Example shifts include 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, or 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. You will also work one in three Saturdays from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm or 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, with time off during the week.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need
A minimum of 6 months customer service or sales experience, from any work environment.
Flexibility towards the working hours.
A motivated and enthusiastic team player.
To be computer literate and confident in learning new systems.
To have an excellent telephone manner with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Any sales experience, or outbound calling experience, would be beneficial.
