We are recruiting for a Care Manager for a Domiciliary Care service in Swansea. ThIS IS A BRAND NEW START UP privately owned domiciliary care agency that provides support to older people who live in their own home in areas of Swansea and surrounding area.

This role would suit someone living local to Swansea, Any connections to the local authority would be an advantage as the development of business and service delivery is one of the main responsibilities associated with this role.

We are interested in speaking to candidates experienced in domiciliary care/live-in care/ home care, with strong leadership and good relationship building skills, who are motivated and enthusiastic about introducing new ways of working in line with the new CIW guidelines, who can grow and develop the business in a safe environment for all.

Key responsibilities of the role are to ensure the safe growth and quality of the business, and to lead and support the recruitment, training and development of a strong staff team. Successful candidates will be knowledgeable and experienced in the relevant policies to comply with current legislation, and able to build close working relations with local authorities, CIW and other related health professionals. You will be instrumental in improving service delivery, marketing and promoting the company, branch and its services to ensure maximum hours and contracts won.

Successful candidates will need to be registered with Social Care Wales and hold an NVQ/QCF level 5.
