Hello
I am looking for a fantastic Ferry Host to support Winderemere Ferry!
The ferry is located in Bowness, Windermere.
The role of ferry host is to assist the first- mate with the loading of vehicles and take payments from the foot passengers and vehicles using a card payment machine.
They will be customer facing representing Westmorland and Furness council so will need to be polite and considerate, any customer service experience will be beneficial. All PPE and training will be provided, and the staff will be working outside in all weathers.
The shifts on the ferry are either morning shifts 06:00 to 14:10 or afternoon shift 13:50 t0 22:30pm.
When cover is required, we will provide the shift times and dates that we require staff. The staff will require a level of fitness where they can be on their feet for the complete shift excluding breaks
. The ferry service runs 7 days a week.
