HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted In GADBROOK!

Logistics People are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers/HGV Drivers/LGV Class 1 Drivers/LGV Drivers/Class 1 Drivers working on an Full Time Equivalent (FTE) basis at our Eddie Stobart Gadbrook depot.

Our customer is one of the biggest names within the HGV industry, with the latest vehicles on the market, which means you get the best HGV experience and a top range vehicle to work with.

Location: Gadbrook, CW9 7WA

Working Hours:

• Wednesday - Sunday / Thursday - Monday / Friday - Tuesday Shifts Available - Start Times Between 01:00 - 03:00
• Wednesday - Sunday / Thursday - Monday Shifts Available - Start Times Between 12:00 - 14:00

Pay Rate:

• Monday Friday Days: GBP18.24 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
• Monday Friday Nights: GBP20.07 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
• Saturday Days and Nights: GBP21.89 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
• Sunday Days and Nights: GBP23.71 P/hr Including Holiday Pay

About this role:

• Ambient work You will be driving ambient products that do not require temperate checks.
• Trunking You will be driving on a regular route, including long haul transportation of goods between distribution hubs.
• General haulage Transporting various types of goods from location to location.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

About You:

• You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence
• No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
• Understand and able to comply with Driver s hours and WTD legislation
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
• Excellent communication skills
