Our client s Wellbeing Centre is an outpatient clinic set in the heart of Birmingham delivering individual therapy to adults, children and adolescents.

The clinic maintains close links with the nearby hospital enabling continuity of care if inpatient treatment becomes necessary. The consultant psychiatrists, clinical psychologists and psychotherapists who use the clinic are all highly experienced in their respective fields of healthcare.

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join their management team. The primary function of this role is to manage the site's administration team and all day to day activities associated with it. This includes, but is not limited to, diary management, billing, handling referrals, customer service including handling complaints, managing waiting lists, responding to internal and external communications, billing, chasing debts and petty cash.

This is a demanding and challenging role that requires someone who thrives under pressure and has an eye for detail and strong organisational skills. The successful applicant will have excellent computer, inter-personal and problem-solving skills as well as outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. You will need previous experience in a customer facing administrative role in a Healthcare environment where there is a high level of oversight, scrutiny and monitoring of quality and governance standards. Management experience is also essential as the role includes line management of the administrators on site.

Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Deputy Office Manager will also be expected to support and provide cover for site management where required.

There will be occasional Saturday working but you will have a day off in the week if you work on a Saturday.

The Centre is open 6 days a week and requires the following shifts covered:

Monday Wednesday 8am - 4pm & 12.30pm - 8pm

Thursday & Friday - 8am - 4pm & 9am 5pm

Saturdays 08.30 until 4pm
