As a Counsellor at Strode College, you will be required to meet the following essential requirements:

  • Hold a recognised counselling qualification (minimum Level 4 Diploma in Counselling).
  • Demonstrate experience in providing counselling services to young people, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively support and engage with students.
  • Show proficiency in maintaining confidential records and managing a caseload effectively.
  • Can work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Adhere strictly to the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, ensuring the highest standards of professional conduct and practice.

Contractual Details
Rate of Pay or Salary: £32,182 - £33,923 pro rata per annum, actual salary £4,275 - £4,506 per annum.

Working Time: 6 hours per week, term time only.

Contract Type: Permanent.

Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme.
