As a business critical supplier to a number of key regional industries we aim to work closer and closer along side our partners. To do this we need to understand their demands and then make sure we can meet them. We need to be buying materials and stock for their processes in advance of their purchasing demands.

Our Account Managers gather information and will share that understanding with the Purchasing Assistant and Purchasing Team.

What we need is a Purchasing Assistant who gathers that information and brings that to the fore recognising the implications and adjusting medium & long term purchasing decisions accordingly.

You will see what is just over the horizon and order to meet that need, you'll also be expected to work with our suppliers to ensure that you know their lead times and minimum order quantities getting our material and products in as effectively as possible.

You'll need to be able to work on your own considering what is in front of you and making decisions to maximise the effectiveness of our purchasing decisions.

You may have worked in Purchasing but any analytical work will give you a head start.

We want someone "smart" not necessarilly qualified but someone who sees solutions and acts to do the best for the business.
