Accounts Receivable Team Leader

Goals and Objectives:

  • To oversee and manage individuals across both the billing and credit control function
  • Continually focused on end to end process improvement
  • Support collaborative working and alignment across the department
  • Driving the individuals towards KPIs & targets, allowing the department as a whole to reach monthly company goals
  • Working closely with the Asset Manager to further develop skillset and knowledge, to provide necessary cover in times of absence

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Manage recruitment and initial induction of new all starters within the department
  • Lead reviews with the team both in a group and 1:2:1 environment in line with company led objectives
  • Providing daily support to direct reports across multiple revenue streams / differing roles within the Asset Management Function
  • Leading the team in an effective manner, ensuring focus towards monthly goals / targets
  • Enable the function to work closely with other departments to ensure billing accuracy, improve cash flow and identifying process failure
  • Taking control of reviewing accounts with the team, ensuring correct setup, process adherence and where possible, moving towards automation

Qualifications/ Experience/Knowledge:


  • Proven experience of Team Management, ideally within a Finance setting
  • Strong experience of Excel, ERP system use
  • Previous exposure to both Service/Construction revenue streams
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Able to work within a team and on their own initiative
  • Knowledge of the details of the sales and operational processes in relation to invoicing a customer correctly & collecting payment
