Our client is looking for a Chef with either Chef de Partie, Sous or Commis chef experience.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, Sous or Commi considered
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for creativity and innovation in the kitchen
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness

What will your role look like?

  • Take charge of all operations and responsibilities in the kitchen preparation area
  • Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to achieve and maintain a G.P margin of 75%-80% consistently
  • Work alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef in crafting exciting menus and innovative dishes
  • Contribute ideas to introduce a quality fresh food menu, constantly enhancing it over the initial three months of employment
  • Introduce an ever-changing specials board to keep our offerings fresh and appealing
  • Manage, train, and recruit junior CDPs, Kitchen Porters, and Pot Wash staff
  • Foster a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation within the kitchen team
  • Ensure cooking stations are adequately supplied, with a focus on the availability of key ingredients like vegetables, spices, meats, and fishes
  • Optimise the cooking process for speed, quality, and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the culinary leadership team to introduce new ways of presentation and dishes
  • Enforce strict health and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Introduce an exciting outside food offer that complements our main menu, enhancing the overall dining experience
