35,000 - 40,000 plus bonus

We are working with a manufacturer in the local area, who is dedicated to delivering high-quality products and solutions to clients worldwide. With a commitment to innovation, excellence, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join their team and drive business growth.

Description of the role:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding product/service offerings to meet client needs and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and exceptional customer experience.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase capabilities and address client concerns.
  • Proactively monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and growth initiatives.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of service with clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.

About you:

  • Proven track record of success in account management or sales roles within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset, capable of identifying and capitalising on business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales productivity tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
