Warehouse Team Leader, Worcester

Resolve Recruitment are working with a well-established time-critical logistics business, delivering supply chain solutions across newstrade, retail, eCommerce and more throughout the UK. Due to growth, our client seeks an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their busy Worcester distribution team.

The role:

• Establish and maintain agreed performance levels for all warehouse activity
• Strong emphasis on monitoring & controlling the safe movement of products when loading / unloading vehicle
• Liaise, support, and develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers
• Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
• Strong system control, ensuring adjustments are fully understood and reported, ensuring efficient flows of stock
• Ensuring efficient and effective delivery and implementation of all aspects of Clients operational requirements
• Organising Training activities/scheduling
• Monitor agreed performance levels for all warehouse/related activity
• Reporter of issues found within the warehouse to complete to the end
• Follow the daily schedule and ensure loads are completed in line with the booking and targets
• Daily Team Briefing
• Manage temporary labour and their hours daily
• General Housekeeping

The person:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Warehouse Team Leader/Supervisor role
• Full UK driving license is essential
• Good spoken and written communication skills
• A professional manner
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Hold BPSS/SC clearance or willing to go through security screening checks as part of application process

The package:

• Up to 32,000 p/a basic (depending on experience) + Excellent Benefits
• Monday to Friday between 8am and 4:30pm (core hours) with responsibility for on call phone between 6pm and 6am weekdays
