Role: Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant

Location: Leicester or Nottingham.

My Client, a market leading specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their team based in Leicester.

Candidates are required to have a MSc and BSc in a relevant discipline including Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Hydrology or GIS and have experience completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and ideally drainage design using Microdrainage.

Candidates are required to be confident individuals to manage projects, mentor and expand the team. A valid driving licence is also essential for site visits and Client meetings.

It is beneficial for applicants to have experience using Causeway Flow and/or Microdrainage.

This exciting Senior Flood Risk and Drainage opportunity will offer you the chance to join and manage/mentor an established team based in Leicester.

You will be expected to complete varied Flood Risk and Drainage Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities, Private Healthcare and Housing Developers. Projects will span residential, retail, mixed-used development projects, hospitals, healthcare and schools.

You will be required to complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.

-Drainage Design using Microdrainage.

-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.

-Site visits and site walkovers.

-Project Management and Client meetings to discuss project development and to develop new business opportunities.

You will be expected to work from the office 3 days per week.
