Physiotherapist - Desk Based Assessments

We are seeking a qualified and experienced physiotherapist to join our team in the role of Desk-Based Assessment Physiotherapist. The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct desk-based assessments to evaluate ergonomic setups and provide recommendations to promote the health and well-being of individuals in a sedentary work environment.

Day to Day

- Conduct thorough desk-based assessments to evaluate the ergonomic setup of workstations.

- Identify factors contributing to musculoskeletal issues and discomfort related to desk-based work.

- Assess individual employees to understand their specific physical health and ergonomic needs.

- Provide personalised recommendations and exercises to address and prevent musculoskeletal issues.

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of desk-based assessments and individual evaluations.

- Prepare comprehensive reports outlining assessment findings, recommendations, and suggested interventions.

- Collaborate with occupational health professionals, HR teams, and management to communicate assessment findings and recommendations.

- Conduct educational sessions to raise awareness of ergonomics and promote a healthy workspace.

- Develop and implement intervention plans to address identified issues, including ergonomic adjustments, exercises, and lifestyle modifications.

- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans as needed.

Your requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.

- Valid HCPC

- 3 years experience in conducting desk-based assessments and providing ergonomic recommendations.

- Familiarity with a variety of workplace environments.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and teams.

- Ability to convey complex ergonomic concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to 40,000.00 per year
