Senior Fundraising and Development Officer
Are you an experienced Development Officer looking for the next step-up or an experienced Fundraiser seeking a dynamic and challenging new opportunity? This opportunity will see you lead on the annual fundraising campaign, responsible for the design, implementation and execution on the fundraising strategy and maximising on engagement.
Senior Fundraising and Development Officer R esponsibilities
Your main duties will include:
- Responsible for developing and implementing the fundraising programme.
- Use creativity and innovation to maximise engagement and return on investment in the programme.
- Plan, manage and execute the Annual Fund programme, including direct mail, digital and telephone campaigns.
- Develop and implement an ongoing volunteer group programme.
- Produce online and hardcopy direct mailings, liaising as necessary with outsourced contractors or managing the process in-house.
- Plan and manage the telephone campaign or other such fundraising campaigns deemed effective.

Senior Fundraising and Development Officer Requirements
- You must have fundraising experience within Higher Education or Charity sectors.
- Experience of managing annual fund campaigns involving direct and email fundraising.
- A creative and dynamic professional, with a proactive and innovative approach to fundraising.
- A confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to multitask and work strategically.
The Location
Based in Oxford, with onsite parking, this is a hybrid-working opportunity, with 3 days per week required in the office. This role is full time working 37.5 hours per week with flexibility. Part-time working (4 days) may also be considered.
