Student Community Assistant
Required as soon as possible Temporary until 31st August 2024 Grade C, range 5-7 (starting at point 5) 25 hours per week x 38 weeks per annum (9:15 am to 2:45 pm daily) Actual salary: £13,304

As well as this endorsement, Tor Bridge High has been oversubscribed consistently for many years.
The Student Community Assistant will support the school’s culture, behaviour and learning by patrolling corridors and enabling students to attend lessons. They will also be expected to monitor registers from ten minutes into each lesson, identifying and chasing missing registers and any ‘N’ codes.

- have a minimum of Grade 4 GCSE and above in English and Maths;
- have the ability to use IT systems;
- are able to communicate effectively with colleagues and show empathy towards students;
- have excellent written and communication skills;
- are able to operate within relevant policies/codes of practice;
- are calm and approachable;
- have a commitment to high standards and expectation.
