Job Title: Governance and Reporting Admin Assistant

Duration: 6 months, extensions likely

Location: Plymouth

Salary: circa 34000 per annum

Role Overview:

As a Governance and Reporting Admin Assistant within the IT & Digital Portfolio Governance & Reporting team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the completeness and accuracy of project documentation and artefacts. You will provide essential clerical and administrative support to the Portfolio Governance & Reporting team, contributing to the success of project and portfolio management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review project documentation and artefacts to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Create and maintain project governance and guidance, portfolio governance and guidance, demand management governance and guidance, resource management governance and guidance, project reporting governance and guidance, project reporting and guidance, data validation, and exception reporting.
  • Provide clerical and administrative assistance to the Portfolio Governance & Reporting team.
  • Support the successful operation of the Portfolio Project Support Desk by monitoring and responding to tickets, emails, and telephone enquiries and queries.
  • Collaborate with portfolio and project managers, IT&D Team Leaders, and the Portfolio Performance and Planning Team to deliver efficient and effective governance and reporting services.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with project management and governance concepts (beneficial)
  • Proficient in using office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
