Project Specification Manager

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent - Home based

Location: Southern England

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

The Role

  • Secure sales of purlin and cladding rails, mezzanine floors, steel framing systems (aka SFS), portal buildings and other systems.
  • Manage and advance long-standing relationships with existing customers and source and develop new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with other internal teams to service new and existing customer requirements.
  • Communicate effectively using the CRM system.
  • Prepare monthly reports to highlight trends in your area and potential opportunities.

  • Outstanding selling skills - a closer, who is able to influence and inspire customers
  • A positive and dynamic personality
  • A keen determination not just to succeed but to exceed set targets
  • Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A 'people person' who can communicate at all levels in a professional manner
  • A strong, charismatic presenter
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
  • Familiar with Microsoft software and good Excel skills
