HGV Service Advisor

Our client is a well-known and reputable HGV dealership with several depots across Southeast of England. Currently they are looking for an experienced HGV Service Advisor / Automotive Service Advisor / Service Advisor to join their busy depot.

They have a fantastic new opportunity for a Service Advisor at their Exeter location. You will be a key member at the heart of their operation. To ensure that service administration duties within the Exeter Depot are controlled and processed to a high standard to included excellent customer satisfaction. This is a busy hands-on role, which offers a wide range of duties such as planning of schedule servicing, tachos and MOT bookings, job creation, obtaining and updating of order numbers, creation of night board, liaise with workshop control to notify of work arriving and waiting to be commenced, retail invoice costing. They are looking for a candidate with enthusiasm and a dynamic personality who will share our energy and passion and contribute to our ongoing success.

You must have an excellent telephone manner and computer skills, experience in the automotive industry is preferred by not essential. You need to be pro-active, take pride in what you do, a willingness to learn and be engaged with training and an interest in pursuing a career within our industry. Full training will be given.

The successful candidate will be working within and alongside the Service and Parts Teams and HGV Technicians. As the role is based in the Service Reception area, company uniform will be provided.

Basic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm inclusive with an hour unpaid lunch. Every third Saturday 8.00am to 12noon.
