Office Manager, Bookkeeper and Administrator

Full time Estate Administrator for several farming and estate businesses. 

The duties include

Book-keeping:

  • Writing up cash books
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Computer input to Farmplan (training can be provided)
  • Partial VAT calculation
  • VAT returns

Payroll

  • Currently three payrolls, will reduce to two next year
  • All input and returns to HMRC

Cottages and let properties

  • Record-keeping (boiler servicing, etc)
  • Scheduling rent reviews
  • Note-taking at property inspections
  • Minutes of inspections

Administration

  • Filing of invoices, statements, etc
  • Debtor control
  • Minutes of meetings
  • Answering telephone
  • Mail opening in principal’s absence
  • Diary management

Starting date 1st Jan 2024.

Competitive salary £25,000 to £30,000, dependent on experience.

Location: near Retford.
