Our Internal Audit team is looking for a new team member to join them as an Internal Auditor. The role will be working within a team that provide risk-based internal audit reviews across all areas of the organisation.
This position will act as a business partner to multiple areas of the organisation, taking responsibility for the for planning, fieldwork and reporting the reviews as well as for tracking the implementation of agreed actions. This role will develop a deep understanding of the organisation’s risks, processes, controls and risk culture; additionally, it will develop strong working relationships with all levels of management.
Our ideal applicant will hold a full auditing qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA, MIIA or equivalent) or related financial service qualification, with practical experience operating under UK accounting/auditing standards e.g., PSIAS (public sector internal audit standards) from working within an accounting, auditing or financial environment; if you have experience of auditing within the Financial Services (FS) sector or working within the FS industry it would be beneficial, but it is not essential. The successful applicant will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability analyse a range of information and form sound judgements.
