Air & Sea Pricing Specialist

The network has more than 354 locations across 60 countries and with 13,000 employees serving alliance customers and attending to the details of their business round the clock, around the globe.

We are now recruiting for an Air Freight & Ocean Freight Pricing specialist to join the team at their Heathrow office in Slough

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Create and issue quotations to prospects & customers Handling Imports and Exports pricing Follow up issued quotations Procurement of services such as airfreight rates, ocean rates, haulage etc. Handling of RFQ/Tenders from customers, prospects & other offices Hold regular service review meeting with key suppliers/minimise cost increases Lead sourcing Follow up of SRN's to generate prospects Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities & introduce services Customer retention & development via physical visit & maintenance via telephone

Experience required:

In order to apply for this role you will need to have experience of working for a freight forwarder and be based within the pricing/quotations or sales support team.You will be looking for an opportunity to grow and develop with a forward-thinking company.

Package and Benefits:

Start Date - ASAP Salary - up to GBP30,000 per annum depending on experience Pension, Bonus Scheme Reporting to the UK International Freight Manager
