Shift Patterns:

• Working Hours Days: 06:00 -18:00
• Working Days: 3 out of 7 one week / 4 out of 7 the next week, on a set shift pattern

Pay Rates

• Pay rate on weekdays: 11.84
• Pay rate weekend Days: 13.67
• Overtime 1.5 x basic rate, after 48h/week

As a Production Operative, you will need to have:

• Ability to follow instructions and processes.
• Computer literate to be trained to use the warehouse IT system
• Good level of literacy and numeracy
• Capable of lifting and standing for long periods
• Good English language skills
• Previous experience is an advantage, but not necessary as full training is provided

Role of a Production Operative:

• Working within a busy/fast-paced environment requires a high level of dexterity and accuracy.
• Manual weighing out of ingredients of bags up to 25kg - following a recipe.
• Quality checking and reporting results
• Working to a schedule as part of a team
• Clean-down the station between batches and allergens
• Checking of batches & quantities
• Following company procedures, ensure products are processed and packed safely and to the right quantity and quality.
• Checking documentation to ensure products are packed in line with specification.
• Complete all health and safety checks and actions in line with company procedure.
• Ensure working area is always kept clean and tidy applying "a clean as you go process".
• Workers will be trained on several different tasks within the production area and may be required to move between tasks/activities throughout the day.
