We are seeking a skilled Engineer to provide professional and efficient support to our ferry clients. The Engineer will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, collecting, and carrying out machine changes and installations as required, on designated ferries. This role will suit a motivated Engineer, with a passion for gaming machines and a dedication to providing exceptional customer support.

You will ideally live within an hour of Holyhead, Wales, as most of the working week will be based there, with a weekly visit to the port of Pembrook.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair, maintain, collect, and carry out machine changes and installations as required, on the ferries

  • Equipment preparation for customers

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional workmanship and a positive attitude.

  • Utilize electrical/mechanical expertise for the installation, removal, and service of gaming machines.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in gaming machine technology

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical/mechanical expertise, ideally in the installation, removal, and service of gaming machines

  • We require electrical/mechanic expertise suited to the installation, removal and service or our machines combined with the confidence, enthusiasm and people skills to maintain and develop our business with our customers.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexibility to work on land and at sea, as required and sometimes at short notice.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Must have some knowledge / experience of fruit, coffee, vending OR some type of machinery.

Salary GBP25,000 - GBP26,000 plus vehicle

Working hours / 40 per week, Monday to Friday
