Wakefield Grammar School Foundation are looking to appoint an able and inspiring Visiting Instrumental Musician with vocal specialism to work within our highly successful and aspirational Music Departments from November 2023 or as soon as possible.
Music is an integral part of our schools and we firmly believe that extra-curricular music plays a vital role in the education and development of our pupils. Our Music Departments cultivate a lively, active and happy atmosphere and cater for a wide variety of genres and musical
interests.
Candidates should themselves be confident and able performers and be familiar with relevant teaching materials and techniques. Accompanying skills and an ability to direct a senior choir would be desirable.
The successful candidate will deliver one to one lessons to pupils across both QEGS and WGHS. The post is expected to cover approximately 1 and a 1/2 days’ teaching per week
