37 hours, Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm Friday 9am - 4:30pm

 


We are currently looking for a Floating Scheme Manager to deliver a high quality, responsive service that meets the needs of customers living in and applying for Retirement Living housing. You'll provide appropriate management of the service and cover for the team during periods of absence.


This is a varied role in which you will need to be able to juggle a busy work load. Ideally, we're looking for someone with experience in a similar role but we will consider those looking for the next step in their career – training will be provided.

 

The geographical area to be covered are mainly Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire with some requirement to visit Suffolk and Wiltshire, Northamptonshire and Hertfordshire onoccasion.

 


What you will be doing:


• Ensure that cover is provided to Retirement Living schemes during periods of absence.
Carry out all related tasks to the Scheme Manager role.
• Manage and assess the dependency levels of customers, ensuring the scheme provides
homes for people of varying care and support needs whilst maintaining a reasonable
balance that facilitates and healthy and vibrant community.
• Take the lead in the assessment of housing and support needs of customers and applicants
to the scheme.
• Manage any scheme-based employees, such as Caretakers, Catering staff, Weekend
Concierge or Handypersons, providing appropriate guidance and supervision.
• Develop positive relationships with customers and their families and provide them with an
effective communication network, managing enquiries effectively and efficiently.

 

We’d love to meet someone with:


• Experience of working with people with vulnerabilities.
• Experience of problem-solving and working to deadlines.
• Ability to self-motivate.
• Ability to manage a complex and busy workload.
• High levels of customer service.

 

Please note the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS application and this will need to be returned and verified by bpha before a start date can be provided.
