The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing support for our client in line with company with compliance, legal requirements, and best practice. The ideal candidate must be able to manage several projects simultaneously and confidently.
You will work on a hybrid basis, 2 days from home and 3 days in the office - Mon to Fri on an initial 6 month FTC
Build and maintain excellent working relationships with managers across the globe, developing a strong understanding of the business activities to ensure that targeted HR support can be given
Supporting on general HR topics (Employee Relations, Training, Well Being, Disciplinaries, etc)
Ensure the relevant HR trackers are up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
Support ongoing employment (including training), and leavers processes
Oversee the accurate record keeping and maintenance of attendance, annual leave, sickness, and any other absence
Delivering guidance and support to the HR administrators
Provide training and developmental support to the HR administrators
Assisting the HR administrators with managing the HR inbox
Deliver legal advice and best practice to line managers
Manage and oversee complex employee relations cases (including disciplinary, capability and grievance matters) through to successful conclusion
Support and challenge managers on proposed organisational changes and ensure that the planning, consultation, and execution of structural changes is managed through to a successful conclusion
Working with the HR Manager to provide dedicated HR support to senior managers on all HR matters
Skills required
Experience in UK Employment law (EMEA Desirable)
Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards CIPD Qualification or can demonstrate previous experience at advisor level within an HR function
Highly proficient Office 365/Microsoft Office
Recent experience working in an HR Department, ideally as a Senior HR Advisor
Experience working in a fast-paced, responsive, and professional environment
Well organised, able to manage work to meet conflicting and frequently demanding deadlines. Illustrate a high standard of prioritisation of work and conflicting demands. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with a keen eye for attention to detail
Self-starter. Able to work with minimal supervision
Trustworthy and very discreet
Pro-active work approach
Willingness to work flexibly in response to changing organisational requirements
Able to show the ability of make sound decisions based on logic and best practice
Projects a smart, proficient image/attitude and acts at all times as a professional and credible representative of HR
