Lead .NET Developer
I am currently working with a Software Company just outside of York who deliver a leading SaaS product and data services to some of the largest charity organisations including the Red Cross and Water Aid. They are looking for a Lead .NET Developer to join their team, utilising modern technologies and best practices to take their services to the next level.
You will be joining the innovation team to spearhead the modernisation of their products, moving towards serverless and using modern technologies like React. You will be taking charge of 3 intermediate developers, dealing with 1-2-1 s, code reviews and taking / delivering requirements.
You will be working on the .NET stack with a range of technologies including, .NET CORE, SQL Server, C#, EF and Typescript. The development teams are currently moving towards utilising more modern tech including serverless and React so they are looking for a lead developer who is an advocate for working with modern technologies. The IT team is made up of 12 developers broken down into 3 teams that pride themselves of creating clean and scalable code by following best agile practices.
The company are really big on promoting from within and there is scope for you to take on more responsibility and progress in your career. The development manager is a really nice guy who is a lover of technology who himself progressed from a dev to head of development within 5 years.
They offer a hybrid working model with 2-3 days in the office per week.
