My client is looking for an IT Support Technician who is looking to develop their career within a top international company. You will have 2 to 3 years in working in IT and a passion for learning. This role is based in Milton Keynes, but you will be required to visit other sites, so you will need to be able to drive.
Responsibilities:
Perform first line IT support such as unlocking of accounts, resetting of passwords, general user IT queries /and problems where possible.
To assist other IT staff with various functions, projects and to provide on-going support to users and management when required.
Travel to different sites to support colleagues and perform back ups.
To assist with daily, weekly, and Monthly reporting and other audit related tasks
Be part of the support and back-up rotation team, ensuring that daily/monthly/annual back-ups are complete successfully
Assist with monitoring of Microsoft and other applications, improving them constantly.
Assist in the set-up, co-ordinating and maintenance of IT equipment.
Assist in the maintenance of all logs in relation to company hardware, peripheral and software are maintainedExperience
Knowledge Microsoft Products
Good communication skills
Experience with an ERP system preferable
Knowledge of IT processes and proceduresBenefits
