ICT Technician
Our client, a successful North-East Engineering firm, are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join their team as an ICT Technician. The Role
The ICT Technician is responsible for acting as the first line of support to all staff across the business and aiding them with any technical queries or issues that they may have. This is a dynamic and versatile role that will include technical support for hardware, software and communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support across the business
Troubleshoot issues
Setting up new users and equipment
Provide daily IT support
Ensure that all incidents are logged and assigned priority
Ensure that all systems are operating correctly across the business
Assisting other members of the team in the implementation of ICT projects
About you
A passion for technology and a willingness to learn is essential for this role and the successful ICT Technician will be able to demonstrate the skills and aptitude to succeed within this position.
Key Requirements:
Experience gained within an ICT team would be advantageous however not essential
A good appreciation for some of the following would be highly advantageous
Microsoft 365
Windows Server Platform
Windows 10 desktop
Antivirus Software
Android and Mobile IOS Software
Excellent communication skills are essential with the ability to speak at all levels
An enthusiastic approach and positive attitude towards work
Excellent problem-solving skills
