An exciting time to join a growing firm with an impressive global footprint as they look to recruit an Internal Account Manager to join their friendly team in Ferndown.

As the Internal Account Manager, you will have a varied role, taking incoming customer service enquiries, advising customers on products, securing sales, and looking after the sales administration for the company. The ideal candidate for this exciting opportunity will have previous sales and customer service experience, a can-do attitude, and a desire to be successful, and hit the floor running adding value straight away.

Salary & Benefits:

GBP25,000 annual salary with GBP3k commission based on sales targets paid quarterly

22 days holiday + 8 statutory bank holidays per year

6% employers pension contribution, with a minimum expectation of 3% contribution by the employee

3 times annual salary as a death in service benefit

Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5 pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

Answering the telephone promptly and politely, transferring calls to the relevant department/person and taking messages

Efficiently processing customer orders within the agreed timescales

Liaising with customers regarding credit status, out of stocks, order completion date, prices, and other relevant information

Keeping customers informed on the products and services offered by the company, upselling where appropriate, and providing product samples and literature as required to secure a sale

Efficiently resolving customer complaints and queries within agreed timescales

Assisting with generating new business via existing customer relationships

Keeping customer records up to date using the CRM system and SAP

Liaising directly with customers to build/enhance strong working relationships

Proactive outgoing calls to existing customers

Analysing sales of customers and product performance

Gap analysis to identify gaps in customer ranges

Liaising with Germany Head Office and UK-based Account Managers around product ETAs

Knowledge and Experience:

Previous experience within a customer service position

Relationship Building / Customer Account Management

Microsoft Office / CRM databases experience

Ability to meet targets

Time Management

Multitasking

Being flexible

Highly organised

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
