HR Advisor/Generalist

My client is looking for an experienced HR professional on a fixed term contract to cover the HR Advisor while they are away on maternity leave. This role will entail offering guidance across a wide range of HR issues and will require someone with strong HR knowledge.

What are the Job Specifications:

• Job Title - HR Generalist
• Salary of up to GBP28,000 based on ability
• Full time hours based in the Preston Office

What will your day to day look like:

• You will be the main point of contact for all incoming HR enquiries and more complex ER matters, such as advising on employee grievances, helping resolve concerns with HR policies
• Reporting to the directors on the HR functions efficiency using people metrics and your data analysis skills to highlight strengths and areas of improvement in the HR procedures
• Reviewing and adapting HR policies to continually improve the overall HR function
• Overseeing the exit process for leavers and ensuring all relevant documentation is completed within company deadlines

You should apply if you possess:

• A CIPD qualification Level 3 or higher
• Multiple years experience in a HR function, a proven track record of implementing or improving the HR function is highly desirable
• An approachable character and able to handle complex matters with diplomacy and tact
