Role purpose

To control the Workshop operations and resources in an effective, profitable, efficient, safe and environmentally friendly manner.

What you'll be doing

On a day to day basis you will:

Ensure Timely opening/closing of Jobs for Workshop and Mobile Technicians

Ensure completion of mandatory scheduled inspections/calibrations regarding all workshop equipment;

Completion of all Safety Checks Tool Box talks Risk and COSHH Assessments.

First point of contact for Workshop related queries;

Ensure HGV MOT target pass rate is obtained.

Who we're looking for

To join us in this role, you must have the following:

Specialist vehicle knowledge / winter maintenance;

Mechanical background/experience

Understanding of Goods vehicle Operator licence regulations;

Excellent IT skills

What we would like you to have:

Extensive knowledge of DVSA and MOT testing standards/requirements

CPC possession or ability/willingness to acquire
