The Senior Email and Content Officer plays a pivotal role in our digital acquisitions strategy - delivering automated and campaign email comms to our growing lead base which has doubled in size over the last year.
In this role you ll be responsible for the strategy, planning, building and delivering of all lead email comms - inspiring our base through creative story-telling to convert to child sponsorship, childhood rescue or a non-financial ask such as to sign a petition.
You ll have the opportunity to test creative ideas, new content and new asks for our audience; defining the ideal journey to take a lead, build awareness and trust to convert them into a warm prospect, then through engaging content ultimately convert them into a supporter.
Bringing out your more analytical side, its imperative you can review email metrics - providing regular reporting on send successes. You ll be responsible for building a testing plan and sharing learnings with both the digital team and wider organisation.
You ll also play a part in maintaining the health of our lead database - sometimes through manual manipulation of data. Continuous growth of the base is crucial to reach our targets, so you ll lead on our lead magnets program working alongside other members of the digital and multi-channel team. This includes creative idea generation, briefing in assets, pulling together the marketing plan across channel owners, handling the budget, reporting on success and optimizing throughout to hit steep growth targets.
