We have partnered exclusively with a leading FMCG manufacturing organisation, who are seeking a UK HSE Manager to join their business. As the Health, Safety and Environmental Manager you will be the lead across their two key UK sites based in Winsford, Cheshire and Elland, West Yorkshire.
A brilliant opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation who want to take safety to the next level at this site. You will be joining the business an exciting time and will be responsible for continuing to drive HSE strategy forward at these two key sites. They also are open to someone who is also looking to step up into their first manager role so can offer great development for the right person.
The Health, Safety and Environmental Manager Role:
- Promote a positive HSE culture across the business
- Work with the Senior Leadership teams to create and deploy a formal Safety Health and Environmental that aligns with the overall Group strategy
- You will be involved with carrying out accident investigations, risk assessments, audits, providing training, developing management systems and keeping abreast of new regulations
- Monitoring and developing Health and Safety performance within the business, ensuring standards and company objectives are met
- Coaching and development of HSE team
The Health, Safety and Environmental Manager Candidate will have:
- NEBOSH General as a minimum, Diploma is preferable
- You will have experience working in HSE role, ideally within FMCG but they are very open to other manufacturing backgrounds
- You will have a positive, proactive approach to your work, with strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Experience in leading internal and external H&S and Environmental audits
- Leadership and Influencing skills are crucial
- You must be adaptable as you will be required to support on some security tasks
